I had to use my initiative to find and make new leads in order to build a sales pipeline. Main Responsibilities • Negotiating costs and building strong rapports with new clients • Managing existing clients • Working with online and print bookings. • Using Salesforce to log and manage my activities further strengthening my IT and organisational skills. From June 2014 to August 2014 (3 months) Sydney, AustraliaSales and Marketing Assistant @ I obtained this role with an international publishing company as a temporary summer position with the initial duration of the role being extended. The role involved me working closely with the sales and marketing team, giving me further insight into sales and marketing processes used by an established international publishing company. It also gave me the opportunity to demonstrate my communication skills by liaising with and selling to organisations worldwide. From June 2013 to August 2013 (3 months) Category Analyst @ Bongrain is a multi-national organisation therefore this position gave me experience working and communicating with colleagues across Europe. My role as a category analyst largely involved me working with data panels Kantar and Nielsen, as well as a range of other databases. I used data to create monthly reports, presentations and to respond to requests. I took on additional responsibility whilst in this role which resulted with me working closely with the marketing team and giving me experience with brand and account management.
