Designed and developed various Win Forms, Windows Services From January 2011 to December 2011 (1 year) Sr Developer @ Responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining web based applications for loan decisions, account opening, business banking, verification and alert system for over 800 credit unions and other financial institutions nationwide. The system provides the end-users with the ability to enter personal information and based on business logic in the portal it makes a decision on the loan/account opening application. Also, developing and maintaining the vehicle loan application that uses web services which provides vehicle values (retail and wholesale) to credit unions. Other responsibilities are: Training and discussing integration strategy for transitioning product to sales force and customers. All development is done in a secure environment, using OOP and with heavy use of XML. From October 2005 to January 2011 (5 years 4 months) Sr Software Developer @ The goal was to replace the current mainframe system with a .NET web application to allow the company grow to the next level. The main components of the project are: Member setup and administration, Account Receivables Transactions, Shopping Cart, Order Processing, Claims/Returns, CRM, Product Setup, PO, Receiving, Media, Reporting and System Administration. Developed an N tier, intranet application for office management, membership management, leads/sales management, media/advertising tracking, reports and order taking. From October 2004 to October 2005 (1 year 1 month) Sr Developer @ Developed GUI for Debt Collection system Administrative module that leveraged the Explorer metaphor to map complex hierarchical object relationships into an intuitive tree view. Created Report Server that queues Crystal Reports report requests described in XML schema. The queue concept was employed to throttle reports to avoid thrashing on the report database, and utilizes a multi-threaded design to allow for light weight reports to not be blocked by long running reports. Completed reports are emailed to a distribution list defined by the requestor in a variety of selectable formats. GUI for requesting reports with associated parameters is dynamically generated based on the XML report definition. Accuracy of the reports are of utmost importance, because these reports were used for the payout of clients, calculating commission for sales employees, chat monitors and the talent. Executives use this system to make projections and business decisions. The system was written in VB 6.0 front-end using SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 8i for the back-end. Some of the technologies used are MTS, Dcom and Windows 2000. The reports are written in ASP+ with IIS server. Participated in the conversion of the existing system into VB.Net. Researched creating Web Services reports for the reseller program.
