The Life Sciences have awed me from an early age. Son of two medical doctors, Healthcare was there even before my ABCs. With my studies, I desired to pursue this passion his universe and became a Master in Science in Bioengineering. My background formation in mathematics, chemistry, biology and physics assured versatility and preciseness. The core bioengineering teaching branched off into two areas. One concerned the cellular cosmos - genetics, organic chemistry, biochemistry, microbiological physiology. The other cornerstone was tailored having in mind to answer the engineering challenges of the (bio)pharmaceutical industry and sciences - project management and design, process optimization and control, fermentation procedures, separation and purification steps, transference phenomena. It answered, during the process, to my innate curiosity and will to learn.
For professional experience, I decided it should keep portraying my broad interest and will to learn far and wide. Research and Development (mainly in Angiogenesis and Oncology), Quality management (deeply rooted in Risk Analysis), Sales/Project Management and Consulting, Teaching/tutoring; all areas reflect a deep commitment to self-improvement and self-competition, a jack-of-all-trades attitude and a "there is always something good to learn/hone/improve" mentality.
