Customer Development Manager - End User - Foodservice/HORECA @ Manage and grow the Foodservice sector with responsibility for End User National Accounts - mainly in the HORECA channel but also in Leisure, Contract Catering and QSR. Look after all dairy categories ( milk, cheese, drinks, butter, and cream) and brands such as Yazoo, Optiwell and Debic . Launch new professional dessert product range introduced into the UK targeted at high volume sites and network with chefs to drive awareness and usage.
Forecast volumes to production, involved with NPD and liaise with Head Office teams in Netherlands to ensure new product delivery and meeting overall worldwide Foodservice strategy. From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Customer Development Manager - HORECA ( Hotels Pubs and Restaurants) @ Responsibility for Hilton Hotels , Accor Hotels, Thistle, Beacon Purchasing, JD Wetherspoons, and TGI Fridays. Customer retention, development and new business wins. Selling full range of confectionary, coffee, hot beverages and snacking products. Successful in developing and extending range of products within every account and building relationships at all levels to have a network of contacts to achieve my goals. From October 2011 to July 2015 (3 years 10 months) Business Development Executive - Retail @ To liase with Multi Site operators and also to influence at Area level the Area Managers and Directors of National Retailers such as Shell, WH Smith, Superdrug and Welcome Break. Selling Confectionary range for Kraft as well as new range of Snacking Biscuits, coffee and cheese. From June 2011 to October 2011 (5 months) Regional Account Manager @ I had responsibilty for all Contract Catering accounts ( National and Regional ) north of The Midlands up to north of Scotland. This involved rolling out national plans for the Big 4 and organising sales and marketing activity for the regionals . I had full P&L for the regionals and this covered all categories for Kraft Foods - Hot Beverages, Confectionery and Biscuits. From September 2008 to June 2011 (2 years 10 months) National Account Manager @ Dealt with foodservice accounts such as Nuttalls, Iceland, Farm Foods, JD Wetherspoons and local Scottish wholesalers at buyer level . Had responsibility for alla spects of account management such as NPD , revenue management, pricing, P&L , marketing and promotional activity and internal liaison with all relevant departments like accounts/production/marketing and customer service. From September 2007 to September 2008 (1 year 1 month) Hotel Development Manager @ To establish close relationships with 5 and 4 star hotels, spas and high end accommodation sites (including Gleneagles, Townhouse Group, St Andrews Old Course, Fairmont), to help build the profile and visibility of the Molton Brown brand. KPIs include selling solutions and range of products from bath and body to bedroom amenities. Conduct training with hotel owners and operators on the benefits and properties of each product and to arrange sales drives with promotions where guests can purchase products fro reception after using them in rooms. Organise events in local shops as incentives for hotel staff and become exclusive supplier of bedroom and washroom products. From September 2002 to July 2004 (1 year 11 months) National Account Manager @ I looked after the West of Scotland area working with the Top 4 contract caterers and all independent catering outlets. Machine acquisition and coffee contracts and all aspects of customer service for around 200 customers . I was then promoted to National Account Manager where I won the Menzies Hotels coffee contract and also the contarct to supply coffee machines to an operator covering National Rail stations worth about £1.5M. My customer base was also Nelson Hind ( now Elior) and other small hotel chains.
