From April 2014 to Present (1 year 9 months) Sr. Senior Solution Architect @ Main Responsibilities Huawei SaaS and SDN promotion team member.Built strong brands and technical solutions for Huawei Carrier IP products worldwide and differentiate our architectural strength from other vendors’ solutions. Highlights * IP Mobile Backhaul (MBH) solution design and promoting with North America market (Bell Canada, Telus, Clearwire). Solved the long convergence issue for Canadian mobile operator of their MBH. * North America IP project penetrating (Time Warner Cable, XO, etc), gathered competitive information with SWOT analysis to help sales teams sell “Huawei values and differentiations” rather than competing on pricing. Promoted the Heterogeneous IP core network architecture to help Huawei to be considered as a second vendor. * Supported US IPCC (IP Competence Center) routine operation for America director, did internal technology workshop, collected and analyzed global IP requirements and trends, assistanted PLM to define new product features. IP product Chief Engineer in China Mobile account. * Supported Global Carrier IP project technical (China Mobile, Telenor, Bharti Airtel, MTN Group, Megafon, etc), including project leads seeking, RFP bidding, BoQ and pricing, technical and commercial negotiating, high level design for delivery, etc. * Represented Huawei to present at key customer meetings, deliver keynote speeches to major events, technical workshops, customer engagements to introduce new products and solutions and influence their mindsets in favor of Huawei’s solutions. * Developed some Carrier IP solutions and outputted the related documents, designed and organized R&D team to verify these solutions (Huawei PTN solution for MBH, EoMPLS+ MEN solution, carrier class NGN/wireless IP Bearer Network solution, E-VRRP for MGW, etc) * Developed marketing documents and whitepapers, coordinated and lectured new product/solution trainings to the field including account team, technical solution sales team, technology partners and main customers. * Gathered and analyzed key market trends, major customers’ requirements and worked with engineering teams to prioritize implementation of the requirements.
