Head of Marketing Operations (World Wide) @ At Quintiq, the leader in supply chain planning and optimization software, I manage the marketing operations department.
Marketing Operations plays a critical role in aligning strategy and processes by managing activities across multiple marketing and non-marketing functions, ensuring that all of the marketing organization’s activities run as planned and are able to excel in their commercial efforts.
Whether leveraging technology, creating processes, productizing best-practices, coordinating functions, training, reporting on performance, or generating new insights, marketing operations is at the center of much of the marketing organization’s activity.
The department is split in three different roles:
- Campaign Operations Management:
Enables effective and efficient campaign deployment
- Marketing Performance Management:
Responsible for performance reporting, targets, budgets, and planning.

Every 6 months they need to make a management review. I developed this report. I gathered the files and turned them into useable information.
I also made a formula to see if trainers were able to reach their targets. I created a backoffice connection with their Excel files and Exact Accounting. In this way the finance manager always has an up-to-date status.
During my time at Interselling Training I joined several courses like Constructive Negotiation, Sales, Phonesales and Custumer friendly phone usage. From February 2004 to August 2004 (7 months) Marketer @ Together with a fellow student I started working for DND Advisgroep in Breda. A marketing team was born. Call-scripts were written and a promoteam was send out on the streets to generate leads for the call-center. We sold appointments for account managers on topics like mortgages. From March 2002 to November 2002 (9 months) Tax Consultant @ The start of a new tax-system in the Netherlands. My job was to answer questions about the new tax-system and help callers fill out their tax-papers. I was able to take this job by studying the new tax-system before it was introduced.
