Chris Gaunt is a consultant in Spencer Stuart's global CFO practice, based in London. Chris has recruited a variety of CFOs/finance directors, treasurers, general auditors, controllers, heads of tax, as well as chief risk officers, chief compliance officers, and other senior enterprise risk executives across sectors. He has worked with corporate boards, CEOs and private equity backers of a range of companies from small start-up businesses to global FTSE100/Fortune 500 corporations. Chris has search experience on every major continent, and specializes in cross-border/global work. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Chris spent 10 years at Heidrick & Struggles in New York and London, where he served as the Managing Partner of the UK CFO practice. Chris began his career as a management consultant for the Washington, D.C.-based Advisory Board Company. In that capacity he led consulting teams working with senior executives across industries on their human resources strategy and operations. Education Chris holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics, a bachelor’s from Georgetown University, and studied in Paris.
