Chief Financial Officer @ Oversight of the Accounting, Finance, HR, and IT departments. From May 2015 to Present (8 months) Business Technology Manager @ In 2005 I came back to Lechler, Inc. to implement new IT initiatives and keep the company on the cutting edge of technology. I operate under the belief that investment in and utilization of technology for process improvement gives our business a competitive advantage. Lechler, Inc. is a German owned manufacturing company which provides me with the opportunity to work with an international team of professionals.
Here are a few of the successful projects I've completed while with Lechler, Inc.
Virtualization: Starting in 2006 I moved 95% of our servers to virtual machines on Citrix XenServer (originally VMware) running on Dell servers connected to a redundant EMC fiber channel SAN (CX4-120).
Citrix: Implemented Citrix Xenapp for centralized application delivery and remote web access to corporate applications (utilizing RSA SecureID two factor authentication).
Firewall and VPN: Implemented a Cisco ASA5510 as a firewall solution and setup LAN-to-LAN vpn to our parent company in Germany. Also setup remote access VPN for regional sales managers. Implemented a web browsing proxy for http/https filtering.
CRM: Developed the business case to rollout a standard CRM solution for the global Lechler organization. Worked with a team of German colleagues to implement Microsoft CRM for Sales and Marketing.
Business Intelligence: Implemented the open source Jasper Reports Server for business intelligence and web based reporting. Integrated the system with our custom ERP solution running on Ingres DBMS and moved from printed daily/weekly/monthly reports to emailed PDF files using Jasper (green initiative). Developed dashboards in Jasper for Microsoft CRM 4.0 and our custom ERP which provide staff with real-time views of aggregate sales pipeline, order intake, and shipment data.
Unified Communications: In 2011 we implemented an Avaya IPOffice VOIP phone system along with Zeacom Communication Center for unified communications, presence, and CTI integration.
