In 2005, Benoit Bertrand created a business case to launch a new location, a new workforce and delivery center in Canada. The business case was approved by the canadian leadership and the Montreal Delivery Center was born. As a Sr. Director, Benoit Bertrand was responsible for managing the operations of the Montreal delivery center which employed over 25 employees and had overall accountability for all projects delivered. The center was profitable on the first year and generated over 5M in revenue per year. Customers included: • Largest Financial Cooperative group in Canada • Provincial Healthcare Organization • Large Canadian Mail Carrier • Large Canadian Shipping Company • Large Multinational Mining Company • Large Canadian Telecommunication Company Sample Project Details Largest Financial Cooperative group in Canada – Responsible for managing delivery of a financial planning solution for over 6000 financial planner across 1800 branches. Activities include Project planning and estimating, steering committee participation, issues and risk management, contingency planning, project tracking and billing. Over 4000 man.days delivered in less than 8 months. Large Canadian Shipping Company – Responsible for managing the multi-site delivery of all interfaces required to support the Sales Channel renewal program for the company as well as accountable for the quality and performance of the integration architecture. This is a high volume transactional architecture that requires interactions with various systems including SAP, Tuxedo, etc.
