I'm either an atypical developer or an atypical Art degree holder, depending on your perspective. I primarily work in iOS with an emphasis on practically every part of the development process - from designing the user interface and marketing materials using Photoshop/Illustrator to diving into the lowest depths of Objective-C frameworks to eek out memory optimizations. I've personally launched 8 apps to the iOS App Store (some critically acclaimed), as well as worked with major government/enterprise clients to bring their business needs to life via software. I'm also fairly active in the Open Source software community and use Github as my primary means of adding to the wealth of free and well-documented software components that exist in the wild.
By education, I have a Bachelor's of Art with a specialization in graphic design, and accompanied by a minor in Advertising. By trade, I'm currently a Software Engineer working with Intermark Group in downtown Birmingham, AL, own my own software company, and do contractual/consulting software work on the side.
Beyond work, I love playing guitar and writing music, as well as dabbling in philosophy, writing, and learning everything I can about this fascinating experience called "life" that envelops us.

iOS Engineer @ From February 2015 to Present (11 months) Huntsville, Alabama AreaFounder @ As one of the founding members of Subvert, LLC (only 3 of us), I have gained first-hand knowledge of launching a company, building iPhone applications from the ground up and making something completely separated from outside interests. Our first app, Red Cup launched on November 14, 2011. It mathematically calculates the best deals on drink specials in town. And now we're expanding.
Our second app, Tip Accordingly, offers funny questions and answers to gauge how much to tip instead of using cold percentages.
Our third app, Hail Yeah, boasts the fastest way to hail a taxi. It doesn't scour Google for information, or rely on GPS. Just pick your city when you first start the app and you have several options to choose from, then one-click dial.
