I am a graduate of U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Economics. My goal is to obtain a position in the fields of Software Engineering, Data Analysis, or I.T. Systems and Infrastructure. I hope to use my unique analytic skills to solve the tough problems presented on any project.
Software Programmer (Computer Systems Engineer) @ At Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, I work in Collaborative services. Our CTO calls us "the concierge to the cloud". We deal primarily with cloud-based solutions for our users. Our largest product is Google Apps, which we have integrated within many lab services. I had started at LBL as a student intern in the Advanced Light Source, where my primary responsibilities were I.T. support. In the Collaboration team my primary responsibilities include: ■ Create and maintain web applications to interface with laboratory services, primarily through the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, NodeJS) and Google Apps Script. ■ Create relevant documentation, and manage the wiki. ■ Mentor interns. As an Intern in the Advanced Light Source, my responsibilities included: ■ Maintain and configure Mac/PC/Linux machines for scientific computing. ■ Install/configure hardware and software for data analysis. ■ Network troubleshooting and maintenance. ■ Add new users to Windows Active Directory.
