The Atlanta Economics Club

The Atlanta Economics Club was formed more than 45 years ago as a forum for discussion of common interests of economists connected with private business enterprise, with federal, state or local government activity, or with business related academia. We are a local affiliate of the National Association for Business Economics (NABE). The goal of the Atlanta Economics Club is to be the premier forum for the discussion of economic issues that have a direct impact on the business community, and for ways in which economic analysis can play a role in the decision making process for that business community through the following: * Convenient avenue for fellow professionals of business economics to convene and discuss important issues on the local, state, regional and national scale * A comprehensive and in-depth platform for speakers to present topics of special interest to business leaders in the metro area * Opportunities for universities, community organizations and other professional groups to gather and discuss current issues with local business professionals
