A STRONG EFFECTIVE VOICE FOR RHODE ISLAND MANUFACTURERS The Rhode Island Manufacturers Association (RIMA) is a nonprofit, member-driven association created to be a unified voice of Rhode Island manufacturers, representing more than 40,000 good-paying jobs in the state. RIMA's main focuses are on legislative and regulatory issues as well as economic and profit improvement programs. makeRI (aka the Rhode Island Manufacturing Institute) is a nonprofit charitable organization which focuses specifically on manufacturing workforce development, as well as educational and career awareness initiatives to ensure that our RI manufacturing companies have the talent they need to compete and grow their business.
