Prism Specialties Art of NYC & LI handles mitigation, cleaning and restoration services for various types of art works due to fire, smoke, water, mold, vandalism, age and other such damage at residential and commercial properties. We work with all levels of art – inexpensive, moderate and fine art. Some examples include paintings (oil, watercolor, acrylic), works on paper, giclee, sculptures, photographs (recover original or digitize, digitally restore and reprint), antiques, taxidermy, collectibles, ceramics, murals, mosaics, gold leaf, sports memorabilia and other sentimental or decorative items (i.e., pottery, porcelain, glass, etc). Oftentimes, the simple act of disassembling the art, cleaning each component and installing new hardware is all that is needed to bring new life to a piece.
