Piping stress analysis - Pipelines (csa z662), sour/sweet/co2/liquids, vehicle crossings, bend studies, buckling, anchor blocks.
Plant and Facility Piping – SAGD, high pressure steam, heavy oil, petrochemical.
Equipment piping design and stress analysis – Pumps, pressure vessels, exchangers, turbines/compressors, flares.
Dynamic analysis – Reciprocating compressor piping, mechanical vibration analysis, water hammer analysis, slugging, start up/shut down transient analysis (pump trip).
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) – Pipe supports (trunnions, staunchions, shoes, guides, anchors), heat transfer, equipment nozzles (tanks and pressure vessels).
Troubleshooting – On-site availability for field/operations support of piping issues (slugging, water hammer, vibration, thermal growth, supports).
Training – Mentoring several piping engineers, custom in-house piping or pipeline stress analysis seminars or lunch and learns.
Piping engineering - Piping material selection and specification, support standard development, valve selection, specialty item specification, spring support selection, line lists, ABSA/BCSA compliance and registration.
Vibration Measurement and Analysis - Self-performed vibration measurements.
