The official sponsor of the Army Corps of Engineers Flood Control Project (MVCD) is a quasi-governmental agency created to be a sponsor to the Army Corps of Engineers for a flood control project in Hamilton County. The board is comprised of three board members appointed by the Hamilton County Conservancy Court. Board members currently represent their respective agencies which include MSD,
Hamilton County Engineer’s Office, the Mill Creek Watershed Council of Communities and local communities, specifically Sharonville. There is also a Treasurer, Secretary, Legal Staff and Controller who attend each of the quarterly board meetings. The MVCD currently owns and maintains completed sections of the flood control project and remains the local sponsor for any potential modifications or completion of the flood control project
in the Mill Creek Valley.
