Locus Science Fiction Foundation

Locus Science Fiction Foundation (LSFF) is an Oakland-based 501(c)(3) non profit foundation, that runs the Locus Magazine (launched in 1968, 740 issues old), administers the renowned Locus Awards, manages the literary estate of RA Lafferty, runs workshops, publishes books, and promotes SF/F literature and community through other events and projects. Locus has won 30 Hugo Awards, the most prestigious award in the global science fiction industry. Our board comprises authors like Neil Gaiman, Eileen Gunn, and Garth Nix.
