Gibraltar is at the southern end of the Iberian peninsular, at the western end of the Mediterranean. Gibraltar borders Spain to the north and, across the Strait of Gibraltar, Morocco to the South. The airport’s location also makes it the natural access to the surrounding areas beyond the territory, allowing easy access to the popular Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz regions of Spain.
