RMD, A Dynasil Company

Radiation Monitoring Devices (RMD) - a subsidiary of Dynasil Corporation of America - was founded in 1974 and is based in Watertown, Massachusetts. RMD is recognized for its cutting-edge research and development in the specialized fields of radiation detector materials, nuclear instrumentation, and custom detector applications, spanning the fields of science, medicine and industry. In its current research activities, RMD maintains multiple programs focused on semiconductor detector materials, scintillator screens, Si Avalanche Photodiodes (APDs), Solid State Photomultipliers and nuclear instrumentation. Responding to the medical imaging community's desire for more versatile, all solid-state designs, we are working on both semiconductor and scintillator solutions for future generations of digital radiographic systems.
