With the formation of MÁV Group and the continual transformation of the organisation, a modern operational form was established, which provides the most efficient operational frameworks for all members of the group. Subsequent to the privatisation of MÁV Cargo, MÁV Group remaining under state ownership will have the opportunity to prove that it can operate a competitive railway company even under market circumstances. Its task is the protection of the assets of the complete infrastructure, the increase of investments, the fluent development of the railway as a whole and the concentration of the forces of the independent subsidiaries.
