Since 1971 Hegira Programs, Inc. (HPI) has been a leader in behavioral healthcare. Today HPI is one of Michigan’s largest freestanding behavioral healthcare organizations, providing a wide variety of mental health and substance use disorder treatment for individuals of all ages. For more than a quarter century, HPI has pledged to meet the diversified needs of our community. Confirming our commitment to excellence, HPI maintains extensive insurance panel memberships, a long history of funding from various governmental agencies and the continuation of Accreditation by The Joint Commission since 1978. It is HPI’s goal to ensure the availability of quality, individualized, and rapidly accessible behavioral healthcare and prevention services to individuals and families of all income levels.
