RICHMOND PARADE INC

Richmond Parade Inc. is the governing body that manages the Dominion Energy Christmas Parade, and its mission is to create a family-friendly experience that brings the holiday spirit to children and adults, community partners, and local businesses. Each year, the Dominion Energy Christmas Parade takes place on the first Saturday of December, starting at the Science Museum of Virginia and continuing along Broad Street to 7th Street. The parade features award-winning marching bands, dance troupes, giant helium balloons, floats, and Legendary Santa himself. This beloved Richmond tradition attracts more than 100,000 spectators each year from everywhere in Virginia, with thousands more enjoying the television broadcast on CBS6.
