Milca Roja (Milca Bottling Company)

Milca Roja® is an iconic raspberry flavored soda founded in Nicaragua in 1959. Milca created the red soda category in Nicaragua by being the first red soda earning the social media accolade #LaRojaOriginal (“the original red”). Milca was introduced to the United States in 1988 and is available at major retail and grocery chains such as Walmart, Target, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Sedanos, Northgate and Vallarta markets – mostly in the Southeast and the West Coast. Milca re-entered the Nicaraguan market in 2020 after a 22-year hiatus due to a partnership with the largest distributor in Nicaragua – Compañia Cervecera de Nicaragua. Today, Milca is available in every supermarket, convenience store, gas station, restaurant and bar in Nicaragua.
