Mechanical Gardens Bike Co-op

The Mechanical Gardens is New York City’s bike co-op: a repair and education center where we put the tools for happiness into the hands of every visitor and volunteer. The Mechanical Gardens empowers visitors to be your their bike mechanics, and invites them to manage our programs as part of our all-volunteer collective. Through a combination of open hours, classes, clear pathways to leadership, and universal affordability, we expand public access to bike tools and repair knowledge, helping everyone work, play, and live in New York City.
