KTM Sportcar GmbH
With headquarters in Graz (manufactory) and Wels (racing), KTM Sportcar GmbH is the manufacturer of KTMs super sports car, the KTM X-BOW, since 2008. More than 1,300 vehicles have been sold since, distributed in more than 40 countries worldwide, amongst them markets like Australia, China or North America.
With a maximum of 100 cars manufactured per hand per year, KTM is one of the most exclusive car manufacturers worldwide.
Besides homologated models for street use, KTM has its focus on racing. With titles in 2008, 2009, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, the KTM X-BOW GT4 (developed together with Reiter Engineering) is one of the most successful GT4 vehicles, racing against the biggest as well as most legendary sports car manufacturers in the world and on the most iconic tracks like Nürburgring, Bathurst or Spa-Francorchamps.
In October 2020 the KTM Sportcar GmbH introduces the brand new models KTM X-BOW GTX & GT2 CONCEPT, showing where Austria's only car manufacturer and Europe's largest motorcycle manufacturer is heading:
Performance and purism, united in a unique, extreme design, and armed for adventures on the most legendary race tracks in the world, the KTM X-BOW GTX & GT2 CONCEPT will set new benchmarks in racing. Keeping the focus on the essentials they provide numerous new technical highlights, increased ergonomics and usability as well as an almost revolutionary safety standard.
Alongside superior technology, the new models are obviously making an extraordinary statement on design: A race car, as pure as a race car can be. On this basis, the models are able to compete against high-profile super sport cars in terms of power-to-weight-ratio, cornering speed, stopping distance, top speed and, last but not least, lap times - whether it's on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, in professional racing or during track days. Of course, both models remain absolutely faithful to the DNA of the original KTM X-BOW: Radical, puristic, precise,
