Isanti Firefighters Rodeo Association

Isanti Firefighters Rodeo is an event that takes place annually in Isanti. Volunteers, mostly comprised of firefighters' and their families, invest thousands of hours per year putting on the biggest event the City has to offer. Because of the volunteer hours put forth each year, the Rodeo Association has been able to give back over $1.25 million dollars to the local Fire Department in the past 37 years. This helps to alleviate the pressures of our Fire District raising taxes to buy new equipment or build new buildings. Along with the Fire Department, the Rodeo Association gives out thousands of dollars in cash and prizes to other local charities each year. You can catch our annual Rodeo every year after the Fourth of July. We are currently sanctioned by the PRCA and have national sponsors such as Coors Brewing Company, Coca-Cola, Ram Rodeo and Justin Boots; just to list a few. Of course none of this could be possible without all of our local sponsors and supporters! You guys make this event happen every year and motivate the firefighters to try harder to make this the biggest and best Rodeo ever! We strive to bring you some of the best Cowboys this country has to offer along with the best rodeo stock our money can buy, as a matter of fact, the stock you see competing against our cowboys in Isanti, has been selected to compete at the Finals in Las Vegas on numerous occasions. The 38th Rodeo will be held July 11th and 12th. For 2014, our local 4H is bringing in Goat Tying for the kids which starts at 5:30pm; this event will be followed by Mutton Bustin' at 6pm. Rodeo time is at 6:30 each night and for this you will want to make sure your hats are snug and your belt buckles are tight, as we are bringing you only the best cowboys and cowgirls for our 38th Annual Isanti Firefighters Rodeo. However our entertainment does not stop there, Friday night you can dance to live music from Stearns Co 17 and Saturday night's performance will be by The Killer Hayseeds.
