Description
Information
HSA was founded in Singapore in 2006. The chartering company strengthens Hartmann’s position in the Asia/Oceania region, with a focus on the provision of ocean transport to charterers for containers, break-bulk and specialised cargoes, as well as bulk cargoes like fertilizers, grains and steels. Being at the heart of the Asian market, the company’s primary focus is to develop new contacts and strengthen existing relationships with our Asian/Australian clients and to explore new business opportunities for the Hartmann Group. HSA currently manages a fleet of 21 small to medium-sized container vessels and 17 identical small container/multi-purpose vessels of about 7,600 dwt. Each of the MPP vessels is featuring box-shaped holds, 2 cranes as well as a shallow draft and excellent eco speed/consumption figures, which render these ships a primary choice of many charterers in the Asian region. Another Asian division is the container feeder operator Hartmann Asia Container Line (HACL), which employs our own managed MPP vessels and third party vessels in their designated SE-Asia/EC-India feeder service. HACL is entering long-term strategic partnerships and slot-sharing agreements with fellow operators in order to expand coverage, achieve growth and increase profitability. Another division Hartmann Asia Line (HAL) supports the feeder line as an NVOCC operator across multiple port-pairs in South-East/North-East-Asia. Hartmann Project Lines (HPL) was initially established in 2009. Due to market conditions HPL project liner operations have recently been shifted away from the Asia/Australia market towards the Continent/WAFR trade lanes. HSA however remains committed to HPL by generating Asian cargo volumes to West Africa and is continuously exploring new shipping possibilities in the region. Being a dependable partner and providing solid, reliable and cost effective shipping solutions to our clients worldwide will remain the main focus of Hartmann Shipping Asia.
