Each year over 300 billion single-use cups are manufactured. Due to their plastic content, less than 2% will ever be recycled. That's why in 2014, we created Ecoffee Cup. Seven years and over 8 million Ecoffee Cups later, we're helping normalise the notion of re-use. Our plan is to create a Cup for everyone – by creating products people feel proud to re-use. Through a choice of designs, colours and sizes; we believe real change comes from here.
We are striving to deliver a solution for anyone who chooses to re-use, not just for the few. We are building partnerships, creating bespoke products and inspiring consumers worldwide. We work with coffee shops, retailers, museums and galleries, corporates and NFPs. We have created beautiful products for William Morris, Surfers Against Sewage, Pret and Pukka to name but a few. We have partnered with Boston Tea Party to become the first coffee chain to completely remove single-use cups.
And we agree: single-use is not the answer; recycling is not the answer. Choose to Re-use.
Ecoffee Cup is now sold in over 30 countries, has offices in the UK and Netherlands and is supported by a global network of over 20 distribution partners.
