Chocolate Soup was founded in the 1970's in Kansas City by a husband and wife team. They quickly became known for their unique appliqué work and button shoulder jumpers. Chocolate Soup expanded throughout the south and midwest. Through out the years Chocolate Soup has changed hands several times but kept the same loyal customers who remember it fondly from childhood. The stores have long since been closed but the Chocolate Soup brand is back and better than ever. We offer modern and trendy appliqué pieces for today's child. To bridge that gap between cutesy baby clothes and mini adults our clothes have the whimsical touch of childhood in modern, classic styles. Our pieces make for a fun and fashionable addition to even the swaggiest of kids. Our first collection 'Home Grown' is a nod to both the new owners and Chocolate Soup's Kansas City's roots.
