The medical profession, especially in Northwest Florida, has too few pediatric neurologists and a large complex patient population. Without CNC many of our patients would miss out on the opportunity of receiving top notch care. There are currently no means to effectively eliminate the needs of medically complex patients. Therefore, CNC must be the advocate for excellent care for the patient and the family. Our practice educates the family with the ultimate goal of an improved quality of life. At CNC, we believe it is crucial to our entire community to provide the best care possible to our patients, a goal we strive for every day with our exceptionally trained providers and medical staff. We take it a step further by providing access to new and experimental treatment options through our sister research clinic which is located in the same building, allowing our qualified patients to be on the forefront of available medical treatment. Child Neurology Center of Northwest Florida clinical team is led by Dr. Ben Renfroe, a neurologist with subspecialties in epilepsy and child neurology with almost 3 decades of experience. Diagnoses of our patients include cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, global developmental delay, inborn errors of metabolism, traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, tic disorder, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, OCD, and anxiety.
