Chappell Schools

Chappell Schools is an outstanding early childhood education entity with eight schools located across Duval and St. Johns Counties. Chappell is headquartered at 8400 Baycenter Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32256. The organization is family-owned and devoted to educating the total child within the Schools' wholesome environments, offering continuous learning opportunities that draw on Chappell's multi-sensory developmental approach to early childhood education and enrichment. Given this approach, The Schools focus on developing children's social graces, enjoying classical music, art, and carrying out a phonics-based literacy program. Chappell's literacy program encourages reading and beautiful handwriting of children. As an extension of teaching children good manners, Chappell encourages children to treat others with respect and dignity as well as to appreciate all living things. The Schools teach children to be mindful of the environment around them, which includes gardening and recycling.
