Catalina Film Festival

The CATALINA FILM FESTIVAL is Los Angeles County's Avalon film festival celebrating the art and entertainment of independent film, but also Catalina Island in all of its rich history, glory, and beauty. On the only resort island off the West Coast of the United States, still in Los Angeles County, this film festival is a beautiful place to come celebrate film. We are a NON-PROFIT PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION in the state of California, and through our fiscal sponsor and beneficiary, the Catalina Island Conservancy, we are able to offer a 501c3 status to our sponsors. This Catalina Island film festival accredits mainstream filmmakers while our beneficiary, the Catalina Island Conservancy, gives out their “Isla Earth Award” to honor those filmmakers dedicated to promoting their goal of protecting, restoring, and experiencing the power of nature.
