Compass Music is a community interest company (CIC) music development organisation based in the seaside town of Folkestone, UK. We focus on music career development, promoting live shows on the beautiful South Coast of England, offering music business education, and connecting vibrant seaside music communities across the UK, France, and Belgium. Our mission is to empower talented musicians and aspiring music industry professionals in England's South East region. We curate and promote captivating live shows in Folkestone and along the picturesque South Coast, creating unforgettable experiences for both artists and audiences, and develop projects and events anchored in the local community. Our regular nights currently include: Riot Gulll - a live music and club night promoting women and gender minorities fronted bands and DJs across rock and punks, which saw bands such as HotWax, CLT DRP, Ghost Car, Dream Nails or Loose Articles play in Folkestone for the first time to packed audiences. Nu:Wave, a new exclusive live music night in Folkestone's newest fairground-themed alternative venue, to allow the audience to connect deeply with the freshest indie pop/folk/rock/disco/lo-fi/electronica talents from Folkestone, Kent and nearby seaside towns in our small, beautiful and intimate setting.
