A MYRIAD OF MEXICAN THINGS ✨🌴 Spectacularly original accessories and wear designed to bring you spice and flair by best friend founders Millie & Sarah. Inspired by and created using Mexican handicrafts. Sarah lives in Mexico City and Millie in London; it’s a U.K. X Mexico collaboration with plenty of “Tea” and “Tequila”. Our love for indigenous and artisan craft gave birth to the business and Tea & Tequila holds a mission in its heart to protect and promote the crafts & craftswoman/men we work with. No indigenous community is too out of reach for our passionate team. We are doing our best not to impact the planet, but for where it is unavoidable in the current situation, we are helping to regenerate in other ways. We have partnered with Tree Sisters whose aim is to rapidly accelerate tropical reforestation. Since June 2020 we have pledged to donate 2% of T&T sales to planting trees; this translates to x7 trees per bag sold. Tea & Tequila pays its artisans and workers at least five times the minimum wage and ensures continuous work and a steady income. We take responsibility with our design process to ensure continuous demand and therefore continuous care for the creators behind them. Our work is important since the proliferation of fast fashion has been destabilising artisans' businesses. We design a range of things we love and desire, ensuring simply that they are one-of-a-kind and that they will add Mexican spice to the lives of those who they meet. We started the business at the age of 24 and have grown with it in style and wisdom, constantly expanding our mission and product offering.
