SC Capital is a real estate investment firm focused on acquiring under-utilized multifamily (apartment buildings), industrial, office, and retail properties in Hawaii. Having completed over $40 million in acquisitions and dispositions in the last few years, we are one of the state's most active private real estate investors. Based in Downtown Honolulu, we specialize in repositioning "value-add" investments across a wide-spectrum of property types. We love challenging assets which require creative solutions, resulting in a successful outcome for property sellers, brokers, and our partners. SC Capital is deeply rooted in the Hawaii community. Our founder and CEO, Ian Clagstone, was raised in Windward Oahu and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii Shidler College of Business and Punahou School. Ian is committed to service through nonprofit leadership: He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Group and the Board of Directors of the GIFT Foundation of Hawaii.
