NICE is an open European network for the academic training of people who practice career guidance and counselling (career practitioners). NICE is organised through the NICE Foundation. Our mission is to… - Promote excellence and innovation in academic, research-based training of career practitioners in Europe - Support the coordination of academic training in career guidance and counselling within Europe - Foster cooperation between the academic community and relevant stakeholders For this purpose we… - Organise annual NICE Academies for further education and networking in career guidance and counselling - Maintains, enhance and promote common European training standards - Want to develop a quality label for degree programmes for the academic training of career practitioners - Facilitate peer learning between people engaged in the academic training of career practitioners - Cooperate with other international organisations promoting professionalism and quality in our field - Support the development of innovative training approaches and materials - Offer trainings for lecturers engaged in the academic training of career practitioners - Promote the exchange of staff and students of relevant degree programmes *The selected number of our "employees" refers to the number of people currently registered as founders or as representatives of founding institutions. All work is currently done pro bono by founders.
