Geotech is a Mud logging and Geosteering Service Company. It operates primarily throughout Texas and Louisiana. Geotech's field staff have demonstrated superior skills logging on Shallow Conventional, deep exploratory, and Geothermal wells. History: Brian Desaulnier founded Geotech in 1991 while working as well-site geologist. He personally experienced the Horizontal drilling technology evolve during the 90’s and with that, the development of geosteering practices. While working on his Austin Chalk project, Mr. Desaulnier recognized the need for better sample collection and analysis. This was the propose Geotech was founded on. Since then, Geotech has remained a competitor in the Oilfield services of mud logging and geosteering services. Highlights: • 1st Horizontal well drilled in the Barnette Shale (Devon). • Pettit Lime play boom in East Texas. • Continuously active in multiple Serpentine trends. • Actively providing services on Geothermal Projects (with international offers). • Many deep exploration wells throughout Texas, reaching basement rock. • High activity in the growing Buda exploration projects. • Strong experience in conventional drilling coastal plains clastic fields.
