Furniture Barn, an independent family owned and operated retailer established in 1966 is committed to providing high quality and fashionable home furnishings and interior design, unparalleled customer service, in a comfortable trendsetting brick and mortar environment. We offer highly competitive pricing, complimentary designer services and over 4 decades of expertise. Furniture Barn was founded by Frederick Reich in May of 1966. Frederick at a very young age was able to grow Furniture Barn from the “local” furniture store to one of Connecticut’s premiere destinations for quality goods. Furniture Barn still operates out of the original location although there have been numerous expansions and renovations. First was the on-site warehouse expansion, followed up by the “Manor House” showroom in the early 1980’s and finally the complete rebuild of the original showroom that added a second floor as well as one of the most coveted post and beam structures in the area. We currently operate a showroom over 20,000 sq.ft. as well as ship and receive all goods on premises in our integrated warehouse. We employ 12 individuals as well as 3 corporate officers.
