Designing Your Life Consulting offers hands-on workshops that help you learn and use the Life Design method popularized by the New York Times bestseller Designing Your Life, How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life. We deliver workshops for consumers and some just for women - all who are at an inflection point in their life and want to design new possibilities for the future. We also deliver for businesses and organizations who want to help their employees design work, balance, energy and possible career/life futures. Taught by Kathy Davies, managing director of the Stanford Life Design Lab, and Susan Burnett, longtime industry executive, these design sessions will give you the tools and space you need to apply apply the life design process to your work and life challenges. We will: * Explore our social narrative and reframe the dysfunctional beliefs that get in the way of thriving. * Define what work and life mean to you and how they can be integrated to increase flourishing. * Explore your past jobs/roles and identify what you need to be challenged at work. * Design the balance and energy you need to fuel your life. * Frame and reframe problems or areas where you’ve been stuck and engage in “radical collaboration” and ideation for new solutions. * Envision three potential future lives and learn how to prototype the parts of these lives that are most compelling to you. * Hone your decision-making process, tuning into the wisdom of multiple ways of knowing. * Create a Designer’s Action plan for real change. * Reframe networking and connect with other people who could help you make progress on your action plan.
