Jim and Alice Dean developed a love for energy saving products in the 70s and began their business in 1980 as Coastal Energy Saver, Inc. At that time they offered Solar water heating systems, Solar Screening and Solar Control Window Film. “People were most interested in tinting their vehicles and reducing heat and glare in their homes resulting in lower utility bills. Partnered with CPFilms, the world’s largest film manufacturer, the Solar Film side of our business began to grow. We are still with this manufacturer to this day. They are now owned by Eastman. We are a Llumar Select Pro FormulaOne Automotive and a Vista Residential/Commercial exclusive window film dealer.” The films have evolved over the years and they continue to improve the chemistry to meet the industry and customers’ needs.
