The Queen's Club was established in 1886 celebrating its 125th year in 2011. The Club was the world's first multipurpose sports complex ever to be built. The Club offers its Members the opportunity to play Lawn Tennis, Real Tennis, Rackets and Squash on some of the finest courts in the world. The Queen's Club is steeped in English tradition, a private members' rackets club set in ten acres of grounds, perfectly located only two minutes walk from the Piccadilly and District tube lines as well as the A4 into central London. As well as six different types of surfaces for Lawn Tennis, the Club is the British headquarters for the traditional sports of Real Tennis and Rackets. The Club provides excellent private dining and meeting facilities, with its relaxed and friendly atmosphere complementing the playing and social aspects of the Club. The staff embrace a strong service ethos , making sure that Members and guests alike enjoy the amenities of the Club to the full. The Queen's Club offers an attractive range of rooms for Events and Banqueting. The flexibility of each room ensures that every event is bespoke and meets the needs of the most discerning clients.
