The physicans at Dermatology Associates are experts in diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Since we are trained in the treatment of disorders of all age groups, we are able to care for infants, children, adults and the elderly. We care for all of the common, as well as the chronic, and most of the complicated skin disorders. Pediatric care includes evaluation and management of birthmarks (vascular hemangiomas and pigmented moles), eczema and dermatitis (hereditary and contact), dry and itchy skin problems, allergic reactions, infections, infestations and insect bites, warts, molluscum and acne. We also deal with the more unusual hereditary, pigment, light-related and developmental disorders. Adult dermatologic services include the evaluation and management of eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, benign growths (moles, keratoses, etc.), precancer and skin cancer lesions (actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma), infections (herpes, shingles, STD’s, Lyme disease, etc.), hair and nail disorders, allergic reactions (hives and contact dermatitis), pigment problems (vitiligo, melasma, etc.), and sun-related disorders. We also manage cosmetically-oriented problems associated with aging including freckles, wrinkling and spider veins.
