I have worked within the I.T industry for most of my life but have only worked for three companies, Fort Dunlop's in Erdington, British Shoe corporation in Leicester and TNT where I have worked for the past 25 years. I have held numerous positions, Computer Operator, shift leader working mainly with mvs jes2/3. I spent several years in operations before moving on to days working in third level operations support writing jcl and implementing new batch processing suites and being on-call for any batch failure. I then moved back to a shift position within the service desk to take on the role of Support Manager which I did for several more years. I was then promoted to Helpdesk manager where I was responsible for 1st and 2nd line support and had 5 support managers reporting to me. After 5 years as Helpdesk Manager I decided to step down and go back to a shift based support role as senior support desk analyst, a technical role suited me better than managment. Following the success of my mobile tyre fitting business we have been working on a new business plan to open a tyre fitting centre. The center will have two high tech fitting bays and storage for over 3000 tyres. Our new tyre fitting center will be opening in July at a prime location on the A5 in Tamworth. We will be recruiting two additional tyre fitters one trainee and a further experienced fitter to work wed through to Saturday.
