I am looking for an internship position in the field of Digital ASIC Design or verification. I am currently enrolled as a Graduate student at NC State majoring in Computer Engineering. I have currently taken Digital ASIC Design(ECE 520), Computer Design and Technology(ECE 521), ASIC Verification(ECE 745), VLSI Systems and Design(ECE 546), Embedded Systems and Design(ECE 561)
I am looking for an internship position in the field of Digital ASIC Design or verification. I am currently enrolled as a Graduate student at NC State majoring in Computer Engineering. I have currently taken Digital ASIC Design(ECE 520), Computer Design and Technology(ECE 521), ASIC Verification(ECE 745), VLSI Systems and Design(ECE 546), Embedded Systems and Design(ECE 561) and Object oriented Design and Development(ECE 517). I am sharing my research experience and requesting you to consider me as an applicant for the Internship position. I have implemented Scalar Multiplication Algorithm(Sunar-Koc) on FPGA and WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) nodes. The devices that I have used are XC6VLX240T(FPGA-virtex 6 family) and MEMSIC mote(WSN node) respectively. The cusp of the project was to measure Hardware and Time complexities on FPGA and WSN nodes. I published a paper on the same in IEEE TENCON2013 which is held at Xi’an, China. In my sophomore year I have implemented Floating Point Processor on FPGA. The team led by me secured first prize in robotic Competition held at IIIT, Hyderabad.
I have also worked as Research Assistant at Livelabs, SMU Singapore. During my brief stint at LiveLabs, Singapore for a period of two months, I was associated with two projects. Firstly, I worked on a wifi based localization experiment by analyzing SNR strength of wifi signal at different locations in Singapore. Secondly, I was entrusted to integrate a smart phone with SINABRO system that records ECG signal from human body and characterizes human stress using machine learning algorithms.
In my final year I have published another paper in which I have compared Karatsuba and Sunar koc algorithms in terms of hardware complexities. This paper was published in IEEE ET2ECN 2014 which is held at SVNIT, Surat.
Right now I am working on Hardware implementation of Bellman Ford Algorithm as part of ECE520 project.
I am a good team player and am open to take up new roles and challenges.
