Angular JS, PHP C# developer @ Angular JS, C# , MS SQL and PHP From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Software Engineer @ While working with Master Connect I was exposed to Jruby/Ruby on Rails, GIT version control, NoSQL graph Databases using Gremlin and Titan and MySQL. From March 2015 to July 2015 (5 months) IT System Analyst II @ During my time with DTS/DWS at the State of Utah I have created and maintain several apps for the state site which utilizes different technologies: Java, Spring, AngularJS, KnockoutJS ,Struts, JQuery , APEX, svn and Oracle. From August 2014 to March 2015 (8 months) Adjunct Professor @ As a part time Adjunct Professor at Broadview University I teach students the fundamentals of HTML5, CSS, and basic JavaScript. My duty with Calltower was to fix their Sales Quote tool in PHP, mySQL and SVN versioning.With Mccann Erickson I worked on a Cisco project utilizing design skills in HTML5, Jquery and Angular. I also worked with Instructure, the makers of Canvas, where I worked on their flash based video player for teachers. The legacy code had many bugs that needed to be addressed in the AS3 project as well as the Javascript that handled commands via External Interface. I also worked on the main engine of Blue Collar Bids, an online bidding site for finding workers locally. I created the engine using CakePHP and a MySQL backend with googleMaps API and Jquery/JS. From August 2013 to August 2014 (1 year 1 month) Software Engineer @ Worked with a team of developers and designers specializing in SEO for our clients. My job was specifically working with landing pages for Google search queries and creating templates based on wireframes and whiteboard design. I used a variety of technologies including CakePHP , Jquery/Javascript, HTML5, CSS, MySQL and the GoogleMaps API. From March 2013 to August 2013 (6 months) Software Engineer @ My role as a contractor at YESCO was to initially set up their Windows IIS server and core classes. Once the server architecture was in place my job was to update the company wide Workbench (Flex) to the latest Flex SDK and change the PHP architecture to a more object oriented framework to work with the ZendAMF protocol. Once those changes were made I Benchmark tested with 3 different database technologies used by YESCO (MsSQL, MySQL and DB2). I also worked on an Android application in which all workers in the field used to update and monitor their work and sync with Workbench. From August 2012 to February 2013 (7 months) Greater Salt Lake City AreaWeb Applications Developer @ My part time role with Rumor advertising involved modifying Joomla templates in PHP and utilizing CSS and HTML5. I created several Joomla modules in PHP ,worked with Drupal and updated a clients project written originally in Action Script 2. I worked closely with new clients helping them bring their business ideas to fruition. From April 2012 to July 2012 (4 months) VP of Engineering @ I started at Mobile Rider as a contractor in 2008 working as needed until I took on a full time position in 2011. I created our media players using Action Script 3/Flash, AMFPHP and PHP. I created a dynamic video player and a streaming player for live events, an audio player with playlist capabilities and worked on several pages for our clients in PHP and JS. I was a part of a small team of programmers and designers. Some of our sites were SkullcandyTV, U2, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Sanuk, Volcom, Bear Mountain , TahoeTV and North Face. As a startup company we worked closely with the CEO and sales/marketing team in an agile environment having daily scrums and working on several projects at once. All data and code were backed up through Subversion and later GIT. From February 2008 to January 2012 (4 years) ActionScript and Developer Conference Instructor @ At Control4 I Taught classes in AS2 and PHP developing Control4 applications for their home automation system for prospective third party developers. When not teaching I developed applications for the Control4 home automation system. I also worked closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for class participation and used SVN versioning control. From June 2010 to February 2011 (9 months) Chief Information Officer and Founding Partner @ I started Excentrix Web with two other developers. We created Created 'Certified Tax Advantage' tax software for self employed and MLM employees. It was written in Flex/Flash/PHP with a RoR backend. We also worked with Exchange Records, a local company in Salt Lake City developing a do-it-yourself layout/web page design editor written in Flex and Flash. From October 2009 to January 2011 (1 year 4 months) Lead Action Script Developer @ Responsible for all ActionScript 2 and 3 programming, testing, and debugging for CompleTV: A Flash AS2 based, multi-dimensional entertainment system designed for high-end hotels. Also responsible for creating a large scale back-end admin for the product in Flex AS3 and created an XML driven program guide similar to Comcast or DirectTV, Flash banners for advertisers, SVN versioning with Tortoise, software BIOS updates for the set-top boxes, PHP and MySQL testing From November 2007 to September 2008 (11 months) Web Developer @ At Origin3 I created all web engines with PHP/JS/AJAX /SQL Flex 1.5 for various web sites and web programs.
