Young Israel of Stamford

The Young Israel of Stamford serves the Stamford comunity as a vibrant, family-oriented, Orthodox synagogue whose devoted members form a warm, caring and inviting community, guided by our Torah & mitzvot. To Serve Stamford: We recognize that we are responsible to more than our membership and play a role in the larger Jewish community. Family Oriented: We feel it's important for the entire family to be involved in shul life and are dedicated to passing on the Torah and Mitzvot ideals of our synagogue to our children. Devoted: Our members are committed to the synagogue and it is through their efforts and devotion that its programs and services continue. Warm: Members regard one another -- and every guest -- as family, and the membership remains at a size that allows us to maintain our haimsche feeling. Inviting: We welcome all Jews into our doors for prayer, learning, and programs and we reach out to the nonobservant and unaffiliated.
