The Credit Union was chartered in 1950, to serve the employees of the Union Carbide Y-12 Nuclear Weapons Production Plant. In 2003 the Credit Union switched to a community charter and now serves 117,000+ members in 8 counties. The Credit Union currently has14 branches with assets currently totaling more than $1B and 300+ employees.
