Whipps Cross University Hospital NHS Trust (WXUHT) came into being on 1 April 2001 following the dissolution of Forest Healthcare NHS Trust. We provide a comprehensive range of acute healthcare services, responding to both emergencies and planned operations. These services include full range of medical and surgical specialties for inpatients, outpatients and day surgery, as well as maternity services and a 24- hour Accident & Emergency unit. We serve the population of Waltham Forest, west Redbridge, Essex and east London.
