The University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech), formerly the College of Arts, Science and Technology (CAST) renowned for providing quality education, incorporating art, culture, sports, and technology to enhance the academic experience. Recognized as Jamaica’s first National University it continues to produce rounded individuals who are highly sought after graduates. Our academic offerings and development have been modeled with emphasis on flexibility of approach, work-based learning and professional linkages through our two (2) Colleges and five (5) Faculties. UTech's student athlete sports programme provides opportunities for participation in inter-collegiate and intramural competitions in 12 major sports including Track and Field, Soccer, Cricket, Field Hockey, Netball, Basketball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Badminton.
