UCL M&A Group

The UCL M&A Group, founded by Patrick Gorton and Yash Parikh, is an autonomous subgroup within the Tharsos Society, focussed on analysing recent M&A transactions. Analysts will write reports on deals within a wide range of sectors including: Healthcare, TMT and Real Estate. These reports will feature in the Tharsos bi-weekly newsletter and will be circulated around campus. We offer students interested in investment banking the ability to showcase their skills by writing in-depth reports and conducting analysis on deals which they are interested in. Further to this, our analysts can expect a range of opportunities including networking events with M&A bankers, mock assessment centres, inter-uni M&A competitions and socials within the Tharsos community.For the 2020/21 academic year, we will be recruiting a team of 11 division heads alongside a strong number of analysts. We are incredibly excited for the upcoming year and hope that, as a sub-group within one of UCL’s youngest societies, positive momentum and an exciting future awaits.
